Meiss Passage


Meiss Passage (52˚45'00" 129˚18'00" N entrance to Borrowman Bay, off NW side of Aristazabal I). This name was adopted in 1926 after Alexander Meiss (1864–1928), who was born at Victoria and, in 1896, became a saloon and hotelkeeper and general trader at Horsefly in the Cariboo district.
