McLean Shoal


McLean Shoal (53˚02'00" 131˚41'00" Off N side of Cumshewa Inlet, NE Moresby I, QCI). Named in 1926 for Capt Neil McLean, master of the CNR steamships Prince John and Prince Charles, both of which served the QCI on a regular basis. He was a veteran skipper with the company, having joined in 1910 when it was the coastal steamship service of the GTP and known as the Prince Line.
