McLean Island (50˚02'00" 127˚25'00" N of Spring I, N entrance to Kyuquot Sd, NW end of Vancouver I), McLean Point (50˚01'00" 127˚25'00" S end of McLean I). Brothers Daniel (b 1851) and Alexander McLean (1858–1914), from Sydney, Cape Breton, were legendary skippers in the early W coast sealing industry.
