McLean Cove


McLean Cove (49˚58'00" 127˚14'00" Just E of Rugged Point, entrance to Kyuquot Channel, Kyuquot Sd, NW side of Vancouver I). Named by the hydrographic service in 1950 after 15-year-old Bruce McLean, who drowned off this coast in 1948 when the mission boat Messenger II was wrecked in a violent storm.
