McIntosh Point


McIntosh Point (53˚45'00" 133˚01'00" E entrance to Otard Bay, W side of Graham I, QCI). Named in 1946 by the hydrographic service after J W McIntosh (b 1864) from NS, a police chief at New Westminster, 1905–10. He moved to the QCI with his wife Margret (b 1868, also from NS) and family and became active in land speculation and promotional schemes in the pre-WWI years.
