Maynard Cove


Maynard Cove (48˚27'00" 123˚16'00" Between Cadboro Point and Ten Mile Point, Saanich, NE of Victoria). Named in 1934 after Joseph Maynard (1840–1929), who was one of the first homesteaders in the Cadboro Bay area. Born in England, he immigrated to Canada in 1873 and is listed in the 1881 census as a railway labourer and the 1882 Victoria directory as an expressman.
