Mary Tod Island


Mary Tod Island (48˚26'00" 123˚18'00" Just N of Turkey Head, Oak Bay, just E of Victoria). Fur trader John Tod (see Tod Inlet) settled at Oak Bay in 1851 upon his retirement from the HBC. His large property was opposite and just N of Mary Tod I, which he named after his favourite daughter about 1856.
