Marshall Reef


Marshall Reef (52˚04'00" 128˚29'00" W of the McMullin Group, S of Athlone I, Queens Sd, W of Bella Bella). RCNR lt cdr Jack Ernest Montague Marshall (1884–1964) worked on CPR Empress ships before WWII. He served as chief examination officer at the Esquimalt naval base, 1940–44, and also took on the job of extended defence officer at HMCS Givenchy in 1944, the year this feature was named by the hydrographic service.
