Marpole


Marpole (49˚12'00" 123˚08'00" N side of the N Arm of the Fraser R, S part of city of Vancouver). This Vancouver neighbourhood is named for railway engineer Richard Marpole (1850–1920), a native of Wales, who came to Canada to work for the Northern Rwy of Canada and joined the CPR in the 1880s.
