Malibu Islet (50˚10'00" 123˚51'00" Just S of Malibu Rapids), Malibu Rapids (SW end of Princess Louisa Inlet, Queens Reach, Jervis Inlet). Seattle-born Thomas Hamilton (1894–1969), developer of the variable pitch propeller and an aviation industry pioneer, fell in love with Princess Louisa Inlet in 1938 while cruising the BC coast aboard his sumptuous pleasure craft, the Malibu.
