Magin Islets


Magin Islets (50˚52'00" 126˚38'00" N of Stackhouse I, entrance to Kingcome Inlet, N of E end of Queen Charlotte Str). Probably named after Capt Thomas Magin (d 1873), who came to BC in 1859 in charge of a company of approximately 165 Royal Marines sent from China to preserve law and order in the young colony.
