Madeira Park


Madeira Park (49˚37'00" 124˚01'00" SE side of Pender Hbr, E side of Malaspina Str, NW of Vancouver). Named after his homeland by early Pender Hbr settler Joe Gonsalves (1857–1939), who in 1904 bought the hotel and store at Irvine’s Landing that Charles Irvine had originally developed.
