Maast Island


Maast Island (54˚00'00" 132˚10'00" Masset Hbr, N side of Graham I, QCI). According to a local story recorded by QCI historian Kathleen Dalzell, a man named Massetta, an officer on an early trading vessel, died while visiting the area and was buried on the island, which the Haida named after him.
