Louscoone Inlet


Louscoone Inlet (52˚11'00" 131˚14'00" S end of Moresby I, QCI), Louscoone Point (52˚07'00" 131˚14'00" SW entrance to Louscoone Inlet). The name of the inlet was bestowed in 1853 by Admiralty surveyors and is probably an attempt to transliterate the Haida name for this feature. QCI ethnologist Charles Newcombe gave the name Lgadjukun to Louscoone Point in 1897.
