Lippy Point

Lippy Point (50˚28'00" 128˚06'00" W entrance to Grant Bay, SW of Winter Hbr, Quatsino Sd, NW side of Vancouver I). Thomas Sargent Lippy and William Grant received Crown grants of land in this area in 1904–5. Many years after abandoning his property, Lippy apparently returned to Quatsino Sd, as a grant was issued to him in the same vicinity in 1928. Lippy Ck, E of Neroutsos Inlet, is presumably named for him as well.
