Laurier Cove


Laurier Cove (54˚24'00" 130˚15'00" E side of Tuck Inlet, just N of Prince Rupert). Lawyer and journalist Sir Wilfrid Laurier (1841–1919) was Canada’s seventh PM, 1896–1911, and the most important politician of his era. The country’s first francophone leader was a dedicated Liberal, famed both for his personal charisma and his passionate belief in national unity.
