Larsen Point


Larsen Point (52˚06'00" 131˚00'00" S of High I, Balcom Inlet, E side of Kunghit I, QCI). Norwegian whaling capt Louis Larsen was master of a number of different vessels for the Consolidated Whaling Corp and Western Whaling Co from the 1930s to the ’50s. Two of the ships he was known to have skippered were the Brown and the James Carruthers.
