Kiln Bay


Kiln Bay (52˚58'00" 129˚09'00" N end of Chapple Inlet, W side of Princess Royal I). This name is an error and should be Kihn Bay, as it commemorates US artist Wilfred Langdon Kihn (1898–1957), who was born at Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Connecticut. A visit to a Montana Blackfoot reservation at age 19 stirred a lifelong artistic passion in Kihn for documenting First Nation cultures.
