Kent Bank


Kent Bank (51˚21'00" 128˚04'00" SW of Rankin Shoals, Sea Otter Group, S of Calvert I, Queen Charlotte Sd). Named in 1947 after J C Kent, who was hired in 1945 as a surveyor aboard the W coast hydrographic vessel William J Stewart. Kent worked in Seymour Narrows in 1945, along the Inside Passage in 1946 and in Queen Charlotte Sd and Smith Sd in 1947, then resigned that year or early in 1948.
