Kean Point


Kean Point (52˚33'00" 128˚30'00" S end of Cone I, Finlayson Channel, NW of Bella Bella). Kean was the name of the accountant at nearby Klemtu Cannery, which operated 1927–30 and 1934–69. The plant was owned by J H Todd & Sons and was extensively upgraded and modernized by manager Lewis Hogan in 1941. This name was adopted in 1948.
