Jay Islands


Jay Islands (52˚52'00" 129˚04'00" Off W side of Racey Inlet, W side of Princess Royal I). Named for barrister George Jay (1861–1940), who was born at Norwich, England, and arrived in BC’s capital city with family members in 1870. His horticulturist father, also George Jay (1830–1899), established an early Victoria nursery and seed business.
