Hyashi Cove


Hyashi Cove (48˚48'00" 123˚18'00" N side of Otter Bay, W side of N Pender I, Gulf Is). T Hyashi (b 1853), who came to Canada from Japan in 1890, owned property here at the turn of the 19th century and cut cordwood to fuel the steam-powered canneries at the mouth of the Fraser R.
