Huntingford Point


Huntingford Point (50˚07'00" 125˚22'00" S side of Menzies Bay, NW of Campbell R). Cdr George Huntingford 
(d 1901) was present on the BC coast from 1893 to 1896, in charge of the 1,034-tonne sloop HMS Nymphe. He went on to serve as the superintendent of Greenwich Hospital Schools, 1897–99, and retired with the rank of capt in 1899.
