Huff Rock


Huff Rock (52˚13'00" 130˚58'00" E of the SE tip of Moresby I, QCI). George Albert Huff (1849–1934) was an early resident of Alberni. He was appointed the area’s justice of the peace in 1890 and served as its MLA, 1895–98. Huff owned a number of steam vessels over the course of his career, including a small sternwheeler, the Willie, which he operated between Port Alberni and Barkley Sd for several years.
