Hose Point


Hose Point (52˚13'00" 128˚12'00" NW entrance to Raymond Passage, just NW of Bella Bella). Rear Adm Walter Hose, CBE (1875–1965), was born on a P&O liner in the Indian Ocean. He entered the RN in 1890 and had a number of gunboat commands in Nfld and Asia before joining the RCN in 1912 as cdr of HMCS Rainbow.
