Henderson Rocks


Henderson Rocks (52˚10'00" 131˚20'00" SE of Nagas Point, SW end of Moresby I, QCI), Henderson Shoal (51˚24'00" 127˚56'00" S of Calvert I, entrance to Fitz Hugh Sd). Lt Cdr Archibald M Henderson (1890–1955) was a long-time employee of the Fisheries Protection Branch on the BC coast. As skipper of CGS Givenchy, a Battle-class trawler and former RCN WWI minesweeper that was assigned to the fisheries dept between the wars, he responded to many emergencies in remote parts of the BC coast....
