Hazel Shoal


Hazel Shoal (52˚37'00" 129˚17'00" SE of Moore Is, W of Aristazabal I). Cpl Henry W Hazel was a member of the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. He was a medical orderly, working under Dr John Seddall, the detachment’s medical officer, and came to BC in 1859 with the main body of men aboard the Thames City.
