Harriet Harbour


Harriet Harbour (52˚18'00" 131˚13'00" S side of Skincuttle Inlet, SE end of Moresby I, QCI), Harriet Island (52˚18'00" 131˚14'00" Entrance to Harriet Hbr). Named in 1862 by mining engineer Francis Poole after the trading schooner Harriet, under Capt T Coffin, which resupplied him at his exploration camp on Skincuttle Inlet.
