Hagan Bight


Hagan Bight (48˚35'00" 123˚28'00" E side of Saanich Inlet, N of Victoria). Farmer James Hagan (1833–1913) emigrated from Ireland to the US in 1854 and ended up in BC about 1861. During the Cariboo gold rush he had some success at Lightning Ck and was able to buy a homestead in the Saanich district, on W Saanich Rd, in 1872.
