Gunboat Passage


Gunboat Passage (52˚10'00" 127˚58'00" Between Cunningham I and Denny I, just E of Bella Bella). Named by Lt Daniel Pender in 1867 after HMS Grappler and Forward, which gave yeoman service on the BC coast as small, steam-powered naval gun vessels from 1860 to 1869.
