Griffin Island


Griffin Island (48˚26'00" 123˚14'00" Just N of Discovery I, off SE end of Vancouver I), Griffin Point (53˚04'00" 128˚33'00" E side of Graham Reach, opposite Princess Royal I, S of Khutze Inlet). Named after Capt Thomas Ormond Griffin (1858–1942), born at Liverpool, England, and a long-time Victoria resident.
