Greetham Point


Greetham Point (50˚20'00" 125˚19'00" W side of Sonora I, SE of Bruce Point, N of Campbell R). Peter Greetham (1830–83), born at Flint, Wales, was an engineer aboard HMS Cameleon, under Cdr Edward Hardinge, and served on the Pacific Station, 1863–65. He entered the RN in 1854, became a chief engineer in 1872 and retired the following year.
