Gowdas Islands


Gowdas Islands (52˚24'00" 131˚36'00" Entrance to Gowgaia Bay, W side of Moresby I, QCI), Gowdas Rocks (52˚23'00" 131˚37'00" Just W of Gowdas Is). Named after the old Haida First Nation village of Gowdas (also spelled Ga’odas), which was located about 2 km to the S. The Gowdas Rks were formerly known as the Black Rks. D
