Gosse Bay


Gosse Bay (52˚10'00" 127˚56'00" N side of Gunboat Passage, NE of Bella Bella). Capt Richard Edward Gosse (1852–1927) was a Nfld sailor and sealer who moved to BC in 1887 and became a builder, especially of canneries. He bought his first cannery on Burrard Inlet in 1909.
