Gospel Island


Gospel Island (53˚23'00" 132˚35'00" Rennell Sd, SW side of Graham I, QCI), Gospel Point (53˚23'00" 132˚32'00" E of Gospel I). Gospel I first appears on a sketch map prepared by Capt Absalom Freeman (see Cape Freeman) about 1912–16. The Gospel mineral claim was staked at Gospel Point after prospectors found signs there of iron and antimony. D
