Goodridge Islands


Goodridge Islands (48˚22'00" 123˚39'00" SE Sooke Basin, S end of Vancouver I), Goodridge Peninsula (48˚23'00" 123˚39'00" N side of Sooke Basin). John Octavius Goodridge (c 1810–65) was the RN surgeon aboard HMS Herald, under Capt Henry Kellett, who surveyed these waters in 1846.
