Gona Point


Gona Point (52˚17'00" 131˚08'00" S side of Collison Bay, SE end of Moresby I, QCI). The name of Gona, a former Haida First Nation village located on Collison Bay, was taken from a map made by naturalist and ethnologist Dr Charles Newcombe, who contributed greatly to historical knowledge of the QCI.
