Glerup Rock


Glerup Rock (50˚36'00" 127˚40'00" E of Straggling Is, Holberg Inlet, NW end of Vancouver I). Peter Glerup was one of the Danish immigrants who settled Cape Scott in the late 1890s. When the colony failed, he and his family moved to Holberg and received Crown grants of land in that area in 1905 and 1911. Nearby Glerup Ck is also named for these pioneers.
