Glencoe Cove


Glencoe Cove (48˚29'00" 123˚18'00" S of Gordon Head, Saanich Peninsula, just NE of Victoria). The cove was an ancient Lekwungen First Nation village site. In 1912, Victoria businessman Keith Wilson acquired the surrounding 5-ha property and named it Glencoe. Forty years and several owners later it was subdivided for residential development by Geoffrey Vantreight (see Vantreight Cove).
