Girard Point (53˚00'00" 131˚40'00" NE side of Louise I, off NE Moresby I, QCI). Emmanuel Girard (1860–1943) was a pioneer resident of Queen Charlotte City. He arrived in the QCI about 1908 to take charge of the Moresby Lumber Co sawmill, bringing his wife and four daughters (a fifth daughter and her millwright husband arrived soon after).
