Gatenby Rock


Gatenby Rock (54˚07'00" 133˚08'00" NW of Sadler Point, off NW Graham I, QCI). John Gatenby was the boatswain aboard early fur-trading vessel Queen Charlotte, under Capt George Dixon, which visited the area in 1786–87. Named in 1907 by Capt Frederick Learmonth of the RN survey vessel Egeria.
