Fleming Bay


Fleming Bay (53˚58'03" 130˚05'40" SE end of Telegraph Passage, S of mouth of Skeena R), Fleming Island (48˚53'00" 125˚08'00" W side of Trevor Channel, Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Fleming Bay was named Port Fleming in 1879 by Capt J C Brundige, who was directed to search out potential sites for a railway terminus on BC’s N coast.
