Fleet Point


Fleet Point (49˚15'00" 124˚08'00" S side of Nanoose Hbr, E side of Vancouver I). Cdr Ernest James Fleet, in charge of the RN sloop-of-war Icarus, located and surveyed a dangerous rock in Nanoose Hbr in 1896 that had earlier been struck by HMS Impérieuse.
