Falcon Rock


Falcon Rock (54˚13'00" 130˚22'00" S of Digby I, just SW of Prince Rupert). Named in 1907 by G Blanchard Dodge of the hydrographic dept, in association with Kestrel Rk (named for a sister ship), while surveying the approaches to Prince Rupert Hbr. CGS Falcon was a 24-m, 44-tonne fisheries patrol vessel, launched at Vancouver in 1902 for BC coastal service.
