Ellis Point


Ellis Point (53˚55'00" 133˚10'00" S end of Frederick I, off W side of Graham I, QCI). Named in 1907 after the coxswain of one of the sounding boats carried aboard the RN survey vessel Egeria. Capt Frederick Learmonth and the crew of the Egeria made an extensive survey of Graham I that year, starting at Rose Point, the island’s NE tip, and ending at Frederick I.
