Ella Point


Ella Point (50˚33'00" 126˚49'00" SW of Hanson I, S side of Johnstone Str). Henry Bailey Ella (1826–73) was born at London and went to sea at age 14, becoming a master mariner in 1853. He first arrived at Victoria in 1851 as a passenger in the HBC barque Norman Morison and later commanded such HBC vessels as the Recovery and the Otter.
