Elizabeth Point


Elizabeth Point (54˚17'00" 130˚22'00" E side of Digby I, just W of Prince Rupert). Elizabeth Parsons (1873–1934), from W Virginia, married John W Moore (see Moore Pt) in 1893. He was a locating engineer for the GTP at the time this area was first surveyed in the early 1900s. Elizabeth accompanied her husband to Prince Rupert and lived in a “tent-house” on Centre St, 1906–8.
