Egmont (49˚45'00" 123˚56'00" NW end of Sechelt Inlet, S side of Jervis Inlet, E of Powell R), Egmont Point (49˚46'00" 123˚57'00" NE end of Skookumchuck Narrows, NW of Egmont). HMS Egmont, a 74-gun ship of the line, took part in the 1797 Battle of Cape St Vincent, under Capt John Sutton.
