Clapp Basin

Clapp Basin (53˚18'00" 132˚26'00" S end of Shields Bay, Rennell Sd, W side of Graham I, QCI), Clapp Islands (53˚19'00" 132˚26'00" In Shields Bay). Geologist Charles Horace Clapp (1883–1935) surveyed this area in 1912 for the Geological Survey of Canada.
