Britannia Beach


Britannia Beach (49˚38'00" 123˚12'00" E side of Howe Sd, S of Squamish). The community of Britannia Beach was named after the Britannia Mine, which operated at this site from 1905 to 1974 and was the largest copper mine in the British Commonwealth in the 1920s.
